Senior Vets’ Forum : Second Annual Get-together

One hundred and seventy-eight Senior vets (with family) all over Kerala met at Thiruvananthapuram to attend the Second Annual Senior Vets Get-together.

Senior professors (retired) from the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Viz., Dr. GR Nair, Dr. PV Vedanarayan, Dr. R Padmanabha Iyer, Dr. E Sivaraman, Dr. V. Sathianesan, Dr. KP Nair, Dr.C George Varghese, Dr. KP Surendranathan & Dr.VS Balakrishnan were among those attended. Eight Retired Directors of Animal Husbandry viz., Dr.George Varghese, Dr. KV Balachandran Nair, Dr. G.Madhavan Nair, Dr. PR Nair, Dr. K Ramakrishna Pillai, Dr. Suguna Prasad, Dr. PP Vava and Dr.G Sudevan were also present.

Five veterans of veterinary profession in the State, Dr.MS Sivasubramanian, Dr.GR Nair, Dr.P Vedanarayanan, Dr.R Bhaskaran and Dr.George Varghese and DR. MC George, a former Kerala Public Service Commission Member and Alumni of COVAS were honoured on the occasion.

It was also decided to have the next meet at Kollam during 2011 October.
